Established in 2017, Inspired Villages is an award-winning operator and developer of later living communities in suburban and rural locations across the UK.  It is backed by a joint venture partnership between Legal & General and NatWest Group Pension Fund.

Millfield Green, the new net zero retirement (regulated energy) community and the ninth Inspired Village, is located in Caddington, central Bedfordshire, and will bring forward 200 specialist age-appropriate homes over four phases, with a Gross Development Value of £120m.

Millfield Green will use renewable energy generation through on-site photovoltaics, EV-charging, improved building fabric and insulation, Mechanical Heat Vent Recovery units and ground-source heat pumps through Kensa Group. Alongside its environmental benefits, Millfield Green will address the chronic under-supply of age-appropriate housing across the UK, with only 7,000 being built each year.

In attendance at the ceremony were esteemed local dignitaries such as Mayor of Luton, Mohammed Yaqub Hanif and The High Sheriff of Bedfordshire, Bav Shah, alongside the residents of Millfield Green who are eagerly anticipating this special experience, as well as the dedicated team who helped bring the community to life.
